Mushroom Pizza Recipe
We’re ringing in the 2022 new year with one of our favorites, mushroom pizza! Add any extra toppings you want & feel free to get creative! This is recipe is our go-to pizza combination!
1/2 lb Oyster Mushrooms
1/2 onion diced
Mozzarella cheese (vegan cheese works too we like Violife.)
1/2 can of Artichoke hearts chopped
Marinara
Dough ( can buy pizza dough at the grocery store or make your own)
Garlic butter crust:
2 tbsp of butter softened (regular or vegan)
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
Heat oven to 400°F grease a large nonstick sheet with cooking spray or use parchment paper. Unroll dough on the sheet & press out the dough. In a small bowl, mix butter and garlic. Spread over dough. Bake 7 minutes; remove from oven.
Saute your mushrooms and onions while dough pre-cooks.
When mushrooms are done cooking paint your marinara across the dough.
Arrange your mushrooms, onions, and artichokes toppings on top of the partially baked crust. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Cut up your slices and serve with your favorite dipping sauce!
