Our kits are the easiest and fastest way to grow huge flushes of your favorite gourmet mushrooms at home, no equipment or experience needed. Each kit induces one 5-5.5 pound “fruiting block”, fully colonized with mycelium and ready to grow mushrooms. Just place the kit in an easily accessible location out of direct sunlight, cut an X in the side of the bag with a clean knife or razor, and mist 5-10 times daily with a regular spray bottle. Depending on which variety you choose, pins (baby mushrooms) will start to form in as little as 2 days, and will grow into beautiful mushrooms in 10-14 days. Each kit will yield approximately 1lb of fresh mushrooms on the first flush, and can grow 2-4 flushes of mushrooms over time.
All of our grow kits are made on the farm using our “masters mix” substrate (oak sawdust and soy hulls), and our favorite mushroom strains - selected and tested to ensure high quality results with low effort. Kits ship out within 5 business days from the time an order is placed, usually within 2 business days.

Species Options:
Phoenix Oyster (Pleurotus pulmonarius) : This is the easiest and fastest growing of our kits, and produces huge flushes of beautiful brown oyster mushrooms. Phoenix oyster mushrooms also have a soft, meaty stem as opposed to the more rigid stem on white oysters.
White Oyster (Pleurotus osteratus) : The classic oyster mushroom, our white oyster strain fruits quickly and produces beautiful white-tan mushrooms. A great producer for multiple flushes.
